- Expected hours: 40 per week
Schedule:
- 8-hour shift (Day shift, 9 to 5)
- Monday to Friday

Job Summary
The MOCVD Growth Technician operates a metal-organic chemical vapor deposition (MOCVD) system and works with wafers produced by this system.
Key Responsibilities
- Operate and help maintain an MOCVD system for the epitaxial growth of semiconductor wafers.
- Inspect and characterize wafers using microscopes and other diagnostic tools.
- Record data and analyze the results.
- Handle chemicals and other hazardous materials used in the system.
- Document operational procedures and protocols; assist with continual improvement.
- Support other manufacturing personnel and interact with other departments.
Qualifications and Skills
- A.S./B.S. in a relevant science or engineering field with at least three years of experience. in epitaxy and semiconductor characterization.
- Experience with InP lattice-matched epitaxy preferred.
- Excellent analytical skills with a strong attention to detail.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Proficient at working independently and as part of a team.
- Ability to work with small hand tools, tweezers/vacuum pickups, wrenches, etc.
- Proficient with Microsoft Excel.
